Training Program:

The ACN training grant features coursework in four primary research themes: developmental auditory cognitive neuroscience, special populations (including auditory disorders, aphasia, amusia); neuroimaging analysis, and sensorimotor integration. In addition, professional development topics are offered for undergraduate and graduate levels of training. Professional development topics include: preparing applications for graduate school; interviewing techniques for the job market; and best practices in ACN research ethics.

Semester-long courses and annual workshops offered by the ACN mentors are described on the Coursework page. An overview of the training program levels and their accessibility to internships and practica is described on the Training Overview page. ACN trainees can take courses across the 3 university sites; contact the Program Coordinator for futher details.
